After being born and realizing they were
probably going to be stuck with each other for the rest of their lives, Dmitrious and Alex decided to band together to form a comedy and variety circus entertainment duo like the world has never seen. We specialize in Ambient Entertainment for live events, custom-tailored acts for stage shows, and circus performance for film productions. We strive to combine character work with high-level circus ability to give a performance that is both entertaining and memorable.

Who Threw the First Punch?: Shana Lutker Stages a Surrealist Fight in Los Angeles
January 03, 2023
When Los Angeles artist Shana Lutker decided to restage a version of the events of that July 2 evening in L.A. in a performance titled The Sleeping Poet and the Jongleuse—which is part of LAXART’s “Occasional” event series—she did so in a banquet room at Taix, a 90-year-old French restaurant in the Echo Park neighborhood that also has dim lighting, booths, and historical baggage. Soon, the Bistrevsky brothers, the six-foot-seven and imposing Dmitrious and the smaller, hat-wearing Alex, were flipping around a narrow wood stage, doing handstands on each others’ backs and juggling.
REVIEW: Catherine Wagley on The Sleeping Poet and the Jongleuse

One hundred guests, the same number as attended the 1925 dinner, came to Lutker’s two performances on September 14 and 15. She also cast her friend, Nour Mobarak, and a friend of a friend recommended Alex and Dmitrious Bistrevsky, brothers and circus performers in L.A. They, in turn, recommended Melissa Kaplan, who could juggle knives. Soon, the Bistrevsky brothers, the six-foot-seven and imposing Dmitrious and the smaller, hat-wearing Alex, were flipping around a narrow wood stage, doing handstands on each others’ backs and juggling.
Flights of Fancy at the Theatricum!
May 19, 2016
Fabulous, beautiful, hilarious and inspirational,” were some of the ways people described the 18th Annual MOMentum Place at the Theatricum’s rustic outdoor amphitheater as each year Topanga’s stunning aerialist, Lexi Pearl, creates a fantastical world of aerial and circus acts, dancers and musicians who perform magical feats of wonder. Once the standing-room-only crowd settled into the theatre, the show opened with Dmitrious and Alex Bistrevsky. Dmitrious, who is nearly seven feet tall and his brother Alex, are known as the Bistrevsky Brothers. They presented the audience with hilarious comedy stunts, juggling and acrobatics while chatting about being circus performers.
